Dealing with the harsh realities that living with a disability and / or the difficulties experienced when accessing necessary information and support services is often a daunting and frustrating existence for many Indigenous people and communities.

Since 1991, with each successful program and service delivered, BCANDS has helped to alleviate the barriers facing our clients and communities and assisted in making life a little easier, a little brighter and a little more inclusive.

Each success instills hope and strength within our clients and reinforces what we and what you know to be true, that all persons, regardless of ability or health status are valued and important members of our communities and as important members, they warrant our support, our understanding and our assistance.

Your donation makes a difference in lives of the Indigenous persons living with a disability and in addressing the health and support service needs of Indigenous communities within British Columbia. All donations received are used to support our mandate and our mission of comprehensive disability, health / resource programs and services available to our clients.
