Aboriginal Network on Disability Society
Robert Harry, Executive Director
Good day everyone, My name is Robert Harry and I am from the Homalco First Nation situated in Campbell River. We are part of the Coast Salish Nations of South Western British Columbia. I started my employment with BCANDS on January 6, 2003. It is a privilege and an honour to be working with a wonderful organization like the BC Aboriginal Network on Disability Society. BCANDS provides a vital support to many people. I will endeavour to ensure that the high quality of services is maintained. For the past few years, I have been involved with the Friendship Centre Movement starting with being the Executive Director for the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre for six years. From there I moved on to the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres as the Assistant Executive Director. My most recent position before coming to work for BCANDS was as the Acting Executive Director of the Mission Indian Friendship Centre on a contract basis. |
