Persons with Disabilities / Monthly Nutritional Supplement Program Transition
The British Columbia Aboriginal Network on Disability Society (BCANDS) has successfully provided health and disability related services to First Nation / Indigenous persons and communities over 25 years. This includes assisting clients in obtaining necessary medical information and assistance in completing PWD applications, both for Indigenous individuals residing within First Nation communities and those residing within British Columbia urban and rural centres .
The BCANDS PWD and MNS programs are available to eligible individuals who reside within British Columbia’s First Nation Communities. The PWD and MNS programs are administrated / adjudicated by BCANDS on behalf of Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.
BCANDS looks forwarding to our continued and expanded work with Band Social Development Workers, British Columbia’s First Nation communities and their membership, both through the PWD / MNS programs and through our existing Disability Case Management / Navigation, RDSP and other disability and health related services.
