Emergency Medical Responder Training

This exciting project consists of training 12 people for full EMR certification
through the Red Cross who will then be offered the opportunity to provide EMR
services at
the Paralympics 2010!

We are taking applications from BC Aboriginal people right now.  The training

program is 3 weeks in length and will be held Victoria, BC starting October 6, 2008.

We will provide the traveland accommodation and program costs; all you need to

do is apply.  (We will be coordinating with your band or Friendship centre for partial

subsidy if possible)

Please read the medical questionnaire carefully and answer the questions as accurately

as you can.  If youare a successful applicant you will need this medical certificate approved

by a medical doctor so it's important that you feel certain that you would pass the

doctor's evaluation criteria in order to participate.

Upon completion of this challenging program, you will not only find yourself with

employment opportunities almost anywhere, you will be eligible to participate

in the 2010 Paralympics Games as an EMR volunteer!  We have been approved by

VANOC (Vancouver Olympic Committee) to supply volunteers that are EMR

certified and who are of Aboriginal Heritage.

Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.  Apply Now:  Application, Medical Certificate
