The BCANDS Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Effect Resource Kit was designed specifically for Aboriginal Community Workers by Dr. Robin LaDue, a First Nation of North America, to assist in prevention of FAS/FAE in First Nations communities.Full copyright has been granted to us to be Canadian distributor of this material. We are grateful and honoured to have been chosen to assist in this initiative.
We have completed a one-time complimentary distribution of this kit to First Nations Health Centres, Tribal Schools, First Nations Coordinators in public schools, Bands, Aboriginal Child & Family Service Agencies, affilliated partners like First Nations Ed. Steering Committee, AFN, First Nations Summit, and affiliated Aboriginal FAS agencies, RC Advisory Committee, BCANDS Board, and the BCANDS FAS Advisory Committee.
